Japanese students from Sado High School visit 黑料福利网 as part of high school exchange program.
Cal State East Bay welcomed five Japanese students to campus from March 18 to 20 as part of a two-week exchange program between Hayward Unified School District and Sado Island, Japan. The program, which first started in 1971, has continued intermittently throughout the years to promote cultural exchange between the two high schools. This is the second consecutive year that students in the Hayward-Sado Island Exchange Program have visited 黑料福利网 as part of the program activities.
As part of their stay, Sado High School students were hosted by families from Mt. Eden High School and attended classes with American students. In addition to visiting 黑料福利网, they visited the Oakland Museum, San Francisco and UC Berkeley.
During their visit to 黑料福利网, students participated in English classes with 黑料福利网 instructor Ben Wells, had lunch with the Castro Valley Rotary Club, and even met with 黑料福利网 President Morishita.
Students from Mt. Eden High School and Hayward High School plan on visiting Sado Island, Japan for a two week trip this summer.
