CSU East Bay Launches Bachelor of Social Work Program
The College of Health's Department of Social Work has officially launched its Bachelor of Social Work Program! The BSW program was made possible by the Social Work Education Capacity Expansion Grant from the California Department of Health Care Access and Information. This program focuses on educating and serving communities in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area.
Think by the Bay Awarded Department of Education Grant
Think by the Bay has been awarded a $2.3 million five-year grant through the U.S. Department of Education's Transition and Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID) program.
Project Rebound Awarded Adult Reentry Grant
Project Rebound was recently awarded an Adult Reentry Grant (ARG) award under the state’s reentry and higher-education support programs in the amount of $4.3 million over the next three years. This grant enables Project Rebound to expand its established wraparound services for formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted students, strengthening pathways for successful enrollment, persistence, and graduation at Cal State East Bay.Find Yourself Here

Dr. Kashinath Appointed Interim Associate Dean

Dr. Shubha Kashinath has been
appointed as Interim Associate Dean
of the College of Health! Dr. Kashinath
is a Professor in Speech, Language,
and Hearing Sciences. Her research
focused on personnel preparation in
