Kim Geron, Ph.D
Professor, Department of Political Science
Professor Geron teaches courses in:
- American politics (American Political Institutions, Public Policy/California Politics, State and Local Politics, Urban Politics, and Interest Groups)
- Public policy (Public Policy Analysis, Immigration Policy and Law, and Labor Politics and Law)
- Public administration (Bureaucratic Politics and Administrative Law, Politics of Public Budgeting)
- Race and Ethnic politics
His research interests include race and ethnic politics, the labor movement, social movements, and immigration policy. He is currently conducting research on the Asian American Movement, Latino politics, race and labor politics, and community based urban politics.

Professor Geron is also the Principal Investigator for the CSU East Bay's Transfer Asian Pacific American Student Success ((APASS) – a five year grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) for Asian American and Pacific Islander transfer students.
