Cal State East Bay is proud to partner with local school districts, including Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, New Haven, Castro Valley, and Oakland, to make the dream of college a reality for more students through the new Guaranteed Admissions Program.
Launched for Fall 2025, more than 3,200 eligible students have already received guaranteed admission letters. These letters don’t just confirm a place at Cal State East Bay, they also open the door to a supportive pathway that helps students and families prepare for the transition to college. Students are invited to participate in Student Admit Nights, where they and their families can learn more about the university, connect with staff, and ask questions in a welcoming environment. Students are also connected to personalized guidance to help them navigate financial aid opportunities and to make college more affordable.
Building on this momentum, Cal State East Bay will expand the Guaranteed Admission initiative in Fall 2026 through new Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with additional districts, including Fremont Unified, Leadership Public Schools Hayward, Napa Valley Unified, Pivot Charter Schools, and Fairfield-Suisun Unified (pending). The university is also strengthening pathways from local community colleges through new and pending agreements with EB CAN (Chabot and Las Positas), Diablo Valley College, Porterville Community College, and Bakersfield Community College.
