Community Engagement

The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) supports student hours in the community through service learning, activities, and programs. Community engagement allows students to apply their education, develop professional skills, and forge social connections while positively impacting our surrounding communities. The CCE works to ensure all students have the chance to develop real-world skills by supporting opportunities that connect students with the community and each other.

In 2024-25:

  • 8% of students enrolled in community engagement courses
  • Students completed 21,367 hours of experiential learning through community-based placements and campus programs
  • Students completed 6,758 internship hours in STEM, healthcare, education, and construction management fields
