CLSFA meetings for the 2025-26 academic year will generally be held once a month, 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm.  As specific dates and times may vary, please check the tentative calendar below:

Thursday, December 4th - location TBD

Beginning Thursday, October 16th to the end of the semester - join as you can each Thursday for a walk around campus. Meet at 12:30 in front of Starbucks

Volunteer Opportunities:

• 10/09 12-2p National Coming Out Day tabling
• 10/25 8a-4p Building Bridges: Advancing Supported Decision-Making in Diverse Communities Conference 
  • 2 hours shifts and lunch will be provided
  • To volunteer register 

Some of our events will include the continuation of the Cafe con Pan speaker series, Loteria night, informal, join when/as you can walk breaks around campus, and fundraising events. 

Membership in CLSFA is open to any faculty or staff who identify as Chicanx or Latinx or allies to our community.

Membership dues are $35 for the academic year and must be paid annually to be a voting member. There are several options for paying your memebership dues, please reach out to any member of the Leadership Team for payment options. These dues go toward hosting events with guest speakers, purchasing CLSFA logoed items (i.e. sweaters, water bottles, key chains, etc.), and fundraising events.
