Students dive into their own “Shark Tank” experience through Start-it-Up, a month-long series of workshops created by the Smith Center for Private Enterprise Studies and the Up Club student organization. The Student Investment Fund (SIF) offers students hoping to immerse themselves in the world of investing, a chance to blend theoretical knowledge with real-world application. Students manage real money in an investment fund and get exposure to the investment management process by crafting analyst reports and pitching recommendations, ultimately deciding the direction of the portfolio.
