Student Health & Counseling Services does not provide any after-hours medical or psychiatric services.  We have prepared this listing of after hours Mental Health Services, Emergency Rooms, and Urgent Care Clinics. This list is not an endorsement of any health care facility.

If you have health insurance, please check with your insurer (there is usually a 1 800 referral number on the back of your insurance card) which clinics are approved by their plan.

    SHCS contracts with an outside provider to make trained phone counselors available when our clinic is closed.  Phone counselors will provide immediate support to students in distress, or consultation to staff, faculty, and community members who have concerns about a student.  The service sends Counseling Services a report after each call so that SHCS counselors can follow up as needed.
