No, Perry, the Peregrine Falcon is managed solely by University Communications. Only selected and trained individuals are permitted to wear the costume.

Requests must be submitted at least 14 calendar days prior to the requested appearance date to allow for scheduling and approval.

The maximum appearance duration is up to 1 hour per session. Based on event dynamics, the mascot performer will determine the total performance duration and break times.

Yes, event organizers must provide a secure, private space within 25 yards of the performance space for Perry to change and take breaks.

No, Perry is a silent mascot and communicates through gestures and expressions only.

Perry primarily attends university-sponsored events. Off-campus requests are highly limited and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

All promotional use of Perry must be approved by University Communications.

If you need to cancel, please notify University Communications no later than 48 hours before the designated appearance start time. Perry is in high demand, and this frees up the ability to appear elsewhere. Please note that late notifications can affect future appearance requests.
