External Link on Left Navigation

Overview

To add an external link on the left navigation bar by using the Cascade "Navigation External Link" content type.

Please note: this is for External Links Only (i.e. catalog.csueastbay.edu, google.com, etc.).  If the page you are linking to is on the www.csueastbay.edu site, please user a Reference Link instead.

Steps

1. Log into

2. Use the Site search prompt to get to the desired site and select Add Content, which is located on the top

3. Select Navigation External Link

4. From here, enter your desired navigation Title and your external Link

5. Hit Preview Draft and then Submit

6. Now you should be able to see your external link in the left navigation
