Front Desk Assistants
Front Desk Assistants foster a safe community environment in the buildings. FDA work in the evening to check residents into the building, connect with residents, register guests, and direct students to resources.
Area Events
Area Events are a collaboration between campus partners and Residence Life professional staff to bring awareness of resources and opportunities directly to residents.
Bulletin Boards
Bulletin Boards are set up in every building to showcase information to residents. Different themes of the boards include information about policies, study tips,finals encouragement, and housing resources/contact.Pioneer Living
Self-Awareness
Students will be able to critically examine their own ideas and consider alternate approaches as they expand theirunderstanding of self in relation to their community.
Fundamentals
Students will identify areas of added support or skills to navigate tasks and systems of day-day to living.Cultural Engagement
Students will also expand their understanding of others through dialogue and interaction with those that do not share the same identities, experiences, and beliefs as them.Connections
Through active listening and seeking to understand the ideas, perspectives and values of others, they will also strengthen their relationships with family, friends, significant others and those in theircommunity.
