The General Application process is tailored for first-time freshmen and new transfer students interested in living on-campus and/or general prospective residents from all class standings. Returning residents (current and prior) are welcome to apply via the General Application process should they have not initiated a contract by time this process begins.

Communities

Living communities are designed to help residents meet other residents in their same academic standing and for the residence halls to provide educational opportunities for their specific needs. All contracts based on open availability.

First Time Freshmen

• Double/ triple occupancy bedroom suite (Sequoia/Juniper)

New Transfers

• Super single occupancy bedroom suite (Tamalpais)
• Double occupancy bedroom suite (Tamalpais)
• Double occupancy bedroom apartment (Calaveras, Coloma, Sierra, and Sonora)
• Triple occupancy bedroom apartment (Calaveras, Coloma, and Sierra)
• Quad occupancy bedroom apartment (Sonora)

2nd year

• Super single occupancy bedroom suite (Tamalpais)
• Double occupancy bedroom suite (Tamalpais)
• Double occupancy bedroom apartment (Calaveras, Coloma, Sierra, and Sonora)
• Triple occupancy bedroom apartment (Calaveras, Coloma, and Sierra)
• Quad occupancy bedroom apartment (Sonora)

3rd year+

• Single occupancy bedroom apartments (Shasta and Diablo)
• Double occupancy bedroom apartments (Calaveras, Coloma, Sierra, and Sonora)

Accommodations

To best accommodate our diverse student population, we offer Open Gender, Co-Ed, non-traditional age, ADA compliant, service animals, and emotional support animals housing options.

If any of the accommodations mentioned are required it is important that applicants self-identify during the housing application and contract. Further, we advise all students to connect with the Accessibility Services Office to request for an intake appointment to discuss options that would best support their needs.
